These custom-designed maps undergo an extensive process, taking hundreds of hours to ensure the most up-to-date and precise information for adventurers to utilize on their mobile devices.

Feature Details:

• The GPS location pinpointing feature helps guide users back to safety when unsure of their exact location. It functions solely using GPS and does not require a data connection.
• GPS tracking shows users their travel route throughout the day.
• Coordinate lookup allows users to search for specific coordinates within the map boundaries using WGS84 decimal degrees (a professional feature).
• The "Find My Friends" feature enables real-time tracking of friends and family during their skiing, biking, or hiking activities. A data connection is necessary to utilize this feature.
• The pin dropping feature allows users to mark and keep track of locations they wish to revisit or explore later.
• The run / feature database contains over 800 entries regarding Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, with plans to expand further to cover the Spearhead Traverse map. Users can search for a feature, learn more about it, and easily locate it on the map.
• Leaderboards enable automatic GPS track uploads to global, friends, and ladder leaderboards, recording metrics such as vertical gained/lost, average speed, time recording, and distance traveled. Prizing will be introduced soon.
• An updated emergency screen includes a map displaying the user's physical location, WGS 84 decimal degrees coordinates, estimated altitude, as well as the map-dependent telephone number for local rescue organizations.
• Map-dependent information links provide quick access to crucial information like weather updates, avalanche forecasts and hazard ratings, grooming and lift status, as well as webcams.
• We have enhanced our GPS recording layout UI for easier recognition of active recording. We have also included active recording time.
